Dr. Ed Ripple you are a cool guy, it is neat how you talk about arching and your name is ripple. Pushing off the table is neat, it reminds me doing bridging on the floor. This is something only doable with a table, not normal gravity boots.

It is a great prerequisite to doing back arching with boots only in a doorway without a table impediment.

one problem I see is that the ankle braces should allow the ankles and legs to pivot in any direction to alleviate uneven bowing, we should also be able to choose to remove one foot at a time from the ankle braces to do hamstring stretches

I bought an inversion table last week. Best thing I’ve done for my back. The only problem is that the tops of my feet hurt during full inversion due to the weight of my body pressing down on the feet holders. Has anyone overcome this problem?

I used to have this problem with my inversion boots. I found that strapping a small towel on each ankle with bandages and then putting my inversion boots on worked very well.

I wish I had watched this video BEFORE trying out a free used one that wasn’t even set up for my height. I got on it with bare feet and flew back instantly, felt like I was going to die.

Nice video. Just like any exercise, take it easy and find your comfort level before going full throttle. If your ankles are uncomfortable you may want to just invert at less of an angle at first. Maybe like 45 degrees. Your ankles may not be used to holding all your body weight in the opposite way that they were accustomed to. But with time/training they will adapt. Also inversion tables have varying degrees of quality and comfort. Some really do have better ankle supports.
